Hello
I'm Leigh-ann (pronounced Lee Ann - she/her). I am a wife, mother, and the executive functions manager for our entire household. I have studied ADHD coaching through the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), an accredited ADHD and life coach training program, which is fully accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Professional Association for ADHD Coaches (PAAC), both considered the gold standard in coaching.
My Thoughts on Coaching
There is an interesting quote attributed to Marshall McLuhan that states, "We don't know who discovered water, but we know it wasn't a fish." This metaphor was a comment on humans going about their lives not truly seeing or understanding the environments around them. I like to think of my job as helping clients see their own fish bowl.

Coaching is a partnership. It is a collaboration where the coach helps the client learn about the unique wiring of their ADHD brain, and how to work with it instead of fight against it. It's about asking the questions and getting to the answers to help the client see possibilities they didn't know were within their reach. Coaching is about empowering the client to create their own solutions.
